Customer wish
Audio TV Center also installed the sound solutions in the previous home of this loyal customer. They were extremely satisfied, therefor they were asked to provide a similar approach for their new country villa. The client was also a fan of Bowers & Wilkins, the brand used in all solutions here as well. Based on the layout of the house, in-wall and in-ceiling speakers were incorporated throughout the first floor, as the speakers had to blend unobtrusively into the décor.  In the kitchen, for example, high up in the sloping sides of the ceiling. In each room, the number, placement and power of all speakers were specified to the desired level, delivering the optimal sound quality with authority. In the living room, the 700 series wall and ceiling speakers were implemented near the TV. In the other rooms, a combination of Bowers & Wilkins' 700 and 600 series in-wall in-ceilings were used. In designing the sound plan, the room layout and seating positions, both indoors and outdoors, were intensively evaluated. The integrated solution had to result in a balanced sound stage with good dispersion, allowing a detailed and accurate sound reproduction even at low volumes.

The end-result
The customer is very satisfied with the quality of the entire sound system. On the first night of commissioning, ATV came for final fine-tuning. Even then, the customer indicated that it sounded very impressive. After the calibration, the final result was far beyond expectations: the customer had a big smile on his face. At a party, the same music can be played throughout the house with wonderful balance in and between the different connected rooms. Outside, Bowers & Wilkins' unrivalled AM-1 outdoor loudspeakers radiate a clear and pleasant sound character and a nice balance in the reproduction of the highs, the midrange and bass. This relatively small speaker owes its strength in part to the Bass Radiator to reproduce very convincing bass. The installation further consists of a powerful Denon receiver and Rotel amplification to drive all speakers.
