The MX series' unique modular design, including the Krix Infinite Baffle System, was introduced to the home entertainment world on November 15, 2015 with the unveiling of the MX-30 in Perth, Western Australia at Krix dealer West Coast Hi-Fi - Midland.

Two systems were available at launch, the MX-20 and MX-30, both benefiting from Krix's heritage and innovation in commercial cinema speaker design. With a focus on delivering cinema-level performance from shallow, home-ready cabinets, the in-house patented horn and waveguide designs delivered a focused, dynamic sound that many enthusiasts craved in their own homes.

In the past seven years, the MX series has grown from two to five systems, with the addition of the MX-5, MX-10 and MX-40. With such a versatile series, there is a system for every room, screen size and budget.

Along with the additional models, improvements to the existing models have been made over the years, including new driver upgrades, aesthetic and performance changes to the acoustic baffle material, installation improvements and the availability of additional absorption modules.

Seven years later, the MX Series is still doing what it was meant to do - captivating its owners and bringing great cinema sound to home theaters around the world.
